PR-Residence
The project is approached through a process of reduction, where elements are consolidated into a continuous and legible system. Rather than introducing distinct gestures, the design focuses on consistency—allowing material, proportion, and alignment to carry the spatial experience. Timber is used as a unifying surface, extending across different conditions to establish a quiet sense of order. Functions are embedded within this framework rather than expressed individually, allowing openings, storage, and transitions to remain composed and uninterrupted. Attention is placed on how elements meet and resolve. Edges are softened, junctions are carefully aligned, and details are reduced to their necessary condition. Light is introduced indirectly, revealing depth and texture without creating hierarchy or emphasis. The project is not driven by contrast or statement, but by clarity and restraint—resulting in a space that feels coherent, measured, and quietly supportive of everyday use.
